From August 1 to September 30, 5.5 million tons of agricultural products, including 44% corn and over 28% wheat, were shipped through the ports of Big Odessa on 241 ships. The Yuzhny port accounted for about 40% of the cargo. In September, there was a notable shift in cargo mix, with a decrease in corn and increase in barley, rapeseed, oils, and meals. Wheat made up 31.3% of the cargo in September, with the majority going to Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Turkey. Turkey is a key hub for processing wheat into flour, which is partly exported to hunger-stricken countries. Deliveries to Bangladesh have also been established.
