White-cap boletus: third consecutive week with rising prices

This week, the white-coated pig maintained the upward trend for the third consecutive week in the case of fattened animals. This upward trend reflects the decrease in the supply of available pigs due to the decline in the weight of the animals, which will be intensified by the effects of high temperatures. Slaughter weights have again decreased and the number of animals sent to slaughter has been less, mainly because there are fewer animals available. Consumption is sluggish both nationally and in Europe. Exports are mainly directed to European countries due to the loss of sales to the Asian market.
