Wholesale apple prices in Ukraine have doubled compared to last year, despite a good harvest in 2022. This is due to the increasing supply of imported apples and the effects of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine on apple storage and quality. The most popular varieties, such as Golden Delicious and Fuji, have seen the highest price increases. The UAE, Iraq, and Turkey are the main buyers of Ukrainian apples, with France, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Armenia, Georgia, and Uzbekistan also contributing to the demand.
