During February 2026, the Regional Economies Traffic Light, which is compiled monthly by the Inter-Cooperative Agricultural Confederation (Coninagro), recorded four activities in green, six in yellow, and nine in red. Thus, compared to the previous month, there was a deterioration, as mandioca changed from yellow to red, the entity that is part of the Roundtable indicated. It should be remembered that the traffic light analyzes three components: IN RED Yerba mate, rice, potato, wine and must, vegetables and cotton, peanuts, milk, and this month mandioca is added. In most of these cases, the main problem is in the business component: the prices received by the producers remained practically stagnant or grew below inflation and the increase in operating costs.
