The Italian 2022/23 olive oil campaign is low, with only 50% of the harvest completed and many quality issues related to drought and oil fly (Bactrocera oleae Gmelin) attacks that affected several areas throughout the country. The 2022/23 campaign expects production to be less than 200K MT.
