Soybean milk in Indonesia continues to be one of the most imported items. Thailand currently holds 60% of the market share in Indonesia for soybean milk and the remaining 30% is a combination of national producers and producers from other countries with the distribution of the product done through medium and big-size retailer networks in Indonesia. The national soybean-related industry still relies heavily on imported soybeans with around 80% of the supply coming from overseas. The industry struggles to meet the high national demand from both casual consumers and industrial-level consumers.
