Black Pepper Essential Oil (Indian Origin)

Black Pepper Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of dried berries of Piper nigrum L., sourced from premium pepper-growing regions of India, including Kerala and Karnataka. The oil captures the characteristic warm, spicy, and woody aroma profile of black pepper, delivering concentrated flavour and fragrance performance.

The oil is typically a pale yellow to light amber liquid with a sharp, fresh top note and warm peppery undertone. It is valued for its high volatile oil content and consistent aromatic intensity, making it suitable for use in flavour systems, seasonings, beverages, nutraceutical formulations, and selected fragrance applications.

Each batch is produced under controlled distillation conditions and tested to meet defined limits for microbiological safety (where applicable), heavy metals, and residual contaminants, in line with international standards. Indian black pepper is valued for its high natural piperine content and strong volatile oil profile, delivering characteristic heat and aroma. The berries are mechanically cleaned and graded to ensure uniform size, minimal foreign matter, and controlled moisture levels to support stable storage and safe international transport.
