The Indonesian Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) is pushing to increase the competitiveness of marine and fishery products this year. KKP will also build frozen warehouses to ice factories to strengthen the business. For fishery processors and marketers, KKP has prepared assistance in the form of 6 units of post-harvest facilities and 2,000 units of coolbox. Furthermore, there are also 13 units of portable frozen warehouses, 6 units of ice factories, and 10 units of refrigeration (refrigerated) cars which are being prepared in 2022," said Director General of Strengthening the Competitiveness of Marine and Fishery Products (PDSPKP). Not only that, a fish market information system would be built to support the implementation of the KKP priority programs.
