According to the information compiled from the data of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB), 203 MT of sea snails were exported to 4 countries in the January-March period in 2022. In the same period, USD 1.3M was obtained from exports. South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan became the countries that bought sea snails from Turkey. Exports values were USD 458,818 to South Korea; USD 302,700 to China; USD 201,000 to Taiwan; and USD 68,982 to Japan. About 51 % of the sea snail exports from Turkey in the January-March period were made in the Black Sea Region. Sea snails worth $528,768 were exported from the Black Sea to South Korea and the People's Republic of China in the first quarter.
