33% increase in cotton production expected in Burkina Faso

The council of Ministers in Burkina Faso anticipates a 33% increase in its cotton production in the 2021/22 season.
With a sown area of 663,261 hectares, Burkina Faso is counting 637,500 tonnes, and supply is up by 32.9% compared to 2020/21.
