During Pandemic times, Morocco exported more than 520,000 tonnes of tomatoes, an increase of 4%, and 476,000 tonnes of citrus fruits. Those of beans forecast 116,000 tonnes, an increase of 9%. Similarly, it shipped 44,000 tonnes of squash (+ 8%), 129,000 tonnes of watermelons (+ 61%), 86,000 tonnes of red fruit (+ 25%) and 32,000 tonnes of avocados.
