Blueberry production continues to increase in Turkey steadily. Turkish growers were able to grow 375 tons in total in 2018 and all the products were sold domestically. The harvest period starts around early June and continues until September.

Almost 80% of the production takes in place in open fields and most of the growers are located in the Black Sea region. The sale price is around 6 USD per kg at the grower and 12 USD per kg at the retailers.
