Jackfruit seasonality in Malaysia

Jackfruit in Malaysia is a seasonal fruit. Fruit season for jackfruit is influenced by the dry season: Areas with two short dry seasons in a year usually have twice the yearly fruit. In areas with only one dry season such as in Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan and some parts of Terengganu, the jackfruit are produced only once a year. The peak season is usually June - August.
