During the COVID-19 control measure and semi-lock period, there are fewer export activities, no permission for fisheries processing, and all restaurants are closed. Moreover, local people are saving money, hence, local consumption decreases. The local fish market is selling 25% of their usual production compared to before COVID-19. The average price of shrimp, prawn, squid, and crab has decreased more than 15-20 percent.
