In addition to beef, goat meat is also among the highly demanded meat in the Malaysian market. Due to the warmer Malaysian weather environment, not many breeders raise goats on large-scale. This is because the goat is very sensitive to the overheated environment and will result in a lack of milk production and breeding. Malaysia now imports cattle and goats from Australia to meet the local market meat demand.
