Tanzanian government tries to recover the reduced production by planting new trees

Tea production has decreased to 36,000 tonnes compared to the previous years since 25% of the tea farms are empty. The government is encouraging farmers to replace all the empty areas with new trees, aiming to produce 100,000 tonnes annually.
