Trout producers noticed lower demand for trout in Poland in April 2020. Domestic demand is lower due to coronavirus restrictions, which obliged restaurants, who were the usual buyers of fresh trouts, to close. Producers notice also lower labour force availability. The national quarantine made some of the workers to stay home, so the production of smoked trout is also lower.
