Still, it has been cultivated on 1,125 hectares of land. Almonds have been cultivated on more than 265 hectares of land. Rajbari Sadar and Pangsha have the highest almond cultivation in the district. Almond cultivation is increasing day by day in Rajbari as it is profitable to cultivate almonds at a low cost. In addition, compared to other crops, almond cultivation does not require much labor. On the other hand, since there is less disease in nuts, there is less hassle in applying pesticides. To get a good yield, fungicides have to be used from time to time.
