Argentine sweet citrus exports are expected to still be significantly below historical levels for the 2021 campaign. This is mainly due to Argentina's domestic economic situation which has made it difficult for producers to compete with other southern hemisphere exporting countries such as South Africa.

The estimated production of oranges is set at 700K tons and 360K tons is the expected output for mandarins. These figures would represent an increase of 7.5% and 16%, respectively if compared to the previous campaign.

Regarding export volumes, Orange exports are expected to increase slightly to 80K tons and mandarins will remain stable at 35K tons.
