Brazilian Institute estimates a 0.5% increase on the national production of grains, cereals, legumes and oilseeds in upcoming year

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the national production of grains, cereals, legumes and oilseeds should reach 253.2 million tonnes in 2021, up 0.5% in relation to 2020, where 252 million tonnes were expected. There is also a projection that cultivated areas of soybean and maize will increase, while that of crops like rice, cotton, and common bean will decrease.
