Bulgaria has marked a drastic decline in wine exports to China with only 6 liters shipped in the month of September compared to over 40 thousand liters of wine shipped in the same month last year.
According to Chinese customs statistics, Bulgaria exported almost 110 thousand liters of wine in the period Jan - Sept this year which is four-times lower compared to the same period last year.
The reason behind the decline is explained by ineffective marketing activities by Bulgarian producers.
On the other hand, Argentina has increased its wine exports by 50% to China in the month of September while France exported over 8 million liters and Spain exported almost 3 million liters of wine during the same month.
