California Pomegranates Started Harvest in W38 With a Solid Price

The Early Wonderful pomegranates from California had just started their harvest in W38. These early-harvest varieties are large to extra-large in size and have thick, leathery, bright to dark magenta skin with a sweet-tart flavor. Pomegranate prices for W39 are USD 8 higher per 4.5kg box on average than last year. Prices for FOB Central, CA, the extra fancy grade with one layer packing of 4.5 kg boxes, are USD 30 for 9 counts, USD 28 for 10 counts, USD 26 for 12 counts, USD 24 for 13 counts, and USD 22 for 15 counts.
