In W10, the Chilean Table Grape Committee of the Association of Fruit Exporters of Chile (ASOEX) released its sixth estimate of the season, projecting that table grape exports will reach 64.51M standard boxes of 8.2kg, a decrease of 13.2% compared to the previous season and a 4% decrease from the fifth estimate made in W7. The decline in exports is due to a lower volume available in the central zone. The new projection indicates that 54% of the exports will be new varieties. The estimated breakdown is 34.78M boxes of new grape varieties, 18.59M boxes of traditional varieties, and 11.13M boxes of Red Globe. Of these, 22.13M boxes will be white grapes, 25.16M boxes will be red grapes, and 6M boxes will be black grapes.
