Storage Fee Increase on the Cards for the 2022/23 Raw Cashew Nut Season in Tanzania

There is a high chance of an increase for the Union Warehouses Storage Fees in Tanzania from USD 0.016/kg last year to USD 0.023/kg for the 2022/23 raw cashew nut season. The change is part of the ongoing Warehouse Receipt System Board meeting with Union Warehouses operators resolutions. This is a 44% potential YoY increase in the storage fees of raw cashew nuts which would contribute to already skyrocketing production costs in Tanzania.
