Companies are reluctant to take on new buyers due to the shortage of cocoa beans

Most cocoa processing companies in Ghana have signed long-term contracts with buyers across the globe and are very reluctant to take on board new buyers as a result of the current shortage of cocoa beans from Ghana.

Demand for cocoa products such as cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, cocoa cake, and cocoa powder from the international market is short in supply and suppliers are struggling to meet such increasingly high demands.
