Crude Sunflower Oil Prices Dropped to USD 930/MT in Turkiye in W14

Crude sunflower oil prices, which rose to USD 2150/MT in the global markets after the start of the Russia- Ukraine war, have decreased to USD 930/MT in W14. The latest delivery to Marmara was priced at USD 930/MT CIF, whereas palm oil is offered at USD 1,005/MT CIF, which is unusual as sunflower oil is generally a higher-priced product than palm oil. The main reason for the low sunflower oil price level is due to overstocking in Ukraine and Russia and buyers refraining from buying in falling markets.
