Egyptian Navel orange producers began offering prices in W45, with initial offers at around USD 13 to 15 per 15 kilogram (kg) box of Class 1, Cost, insurance, and freight (CIF)-Santos. By W47, prices for Class 1 oranges have dropped to USD 11 to 11.75 per box for an estimated time of departure (ETD) of December 7, 2024. Similarly, Mirav mandarins, initially priced at USD 13/10kg box of Class 1, have decreased to USD 11/10kg box. This price reduction is likely due to an increase in the number of suppliers targeting the Brazilian market.
