Durian Exports Ranked Second in the Total Fruit Export Value of Vietnam in October 2022

Since Vietnamese durian has been officially allowed to be exported to China, durian export revenue was nearly USD 79M in October 2022, a 294% YoY increase. This record increase makes durian the fruit with the highest export turnover of the month. Durian export revenue was USD 294M in the first ten months of 2022, an increase of 91.5% over the same period in 2021. Durian accounts for 17.3% of Vietnam's total fruit export value in the first ten months of 2022, just behind dragon fruit.
