The export of packaged mineral water from Indonesia has experienced consistent and steady growth since 2018. Annually, the export of this commodity has been able to book around an 8% growth, a trend that will continue in 2020 as the national manufacturers will still be able keep the production capacity adequate even during the pandemic. Most of the produced packaged mineral water are mostly exported to the countries in the Southeast Asian region such as Brunei, East Timor, and the Philippines. Still, despite the growth of the export volume of mineral water from Indonesia, the industry is still dominated by a few big manufacturers, as there is only around 5% of the total number of registered companies in the industry that can do export at the moment.
