During the first quarter of 2021, Morocco exported its mint to Europe and some GCC countries. Now that the season has already started in Spain, the quantities exported by Moroccan farmers are seeing a decrease due to the huge offers from Spanish growers and the cost of transport from Spain. The time it takes to deliver fresh mint within hours from Spain to many European cities is also impacting the export from Morocco where shipments take more time. The average price of Moroccan mint was set at USD 0.15 per unit before it fell to USD 0.09.
