Earlier this week, the Indonesian government facilitated the export of 20MT of yellowfin tuna to South Korea from Benoa port in Bali. As this export occurred in the early stage of January 2021, this export is viewed by the local exporters as much-needed momentum to propel a turnaround for exports quantity from this province. The province experienced an 80% decrease in export volumes throughout 2020 as a result of COVID-19, which slowed demand and production capacity.
