Between January and August 2020, foreign sales of the fruit increased by 21%.
By the end of the year, export values of US $ 1 billion in fresh grapes would be exceeded. For this season 2020/21 it is expected that fresh Peruvian grapes exports would grow by 10%.

Until August, sales abroad totaled FOB US $ 436 million and in the same period last year US $ 361 million were obtained. The main destinations were the United States (50% share), Hong Kong (14% share) and the Netherlands (9% share). On the other hand, the Chinese market had a negative rate of -33% and this is due to the restrictions on the closure of ports due to the pandemic.

If the positive trend continues in the following months, by the end of the year the export values of US $ 1 billion in fresh grapes will be exceeded.
