The hazelnut harvest in Turkey for 2023 concluded in September, and farmers have sold their harvested hazelnuts to producers after proper storage. Prices in 2023 have significantly risen compared to 2022. Market prices remained high but stable for the past three weeks, with no expected decrease in the short term. However, prices are anticipated to increase due to a low yield percentage during the hazelnut shell cracking process, which may impact supply.
