South African macadamia production for the 2023 season is forecasted to yield a record-breaking production of 77,649 mt of dry in-shell nuts, representing a 12.8% increase from 68,840 mt in the 2022 season. This increase in production can be attributed to good rainfall, favorable production conditions, and new orchards coming into production.
