According to the shipping agency, the vessel M/V PAN JASMINE carrying 30,000 MT of Mozambique origin pigeon peas is delayed and expected to reach Mumbai port on November 8. With the arrival of pigeon peas to the Indian market, the market price pressure experienced during the Diwali festival period could be leveraged. Pigeon peas of African origin in W43 are selling at USD 777.6/MT for the Arusha variety, USD 735/MT for the Mozambique variety, and USD 947.7/MT for the Sudan variety in the Indian market.
