A strong point of Portuguese wines

Portuguese wines are presenting very high quality at a reasonable price. Those who try Portuguese wines show a positive response and an interest. A strong point of Portugal wine is that it has varieties, such as Zé do Telheiro (Joe from Shed), Tinto Cão (Red Dog), Rabo de Ovelha (Sheep’s Tail), Pé Comprido (Long Foot) or Amor Não Me Deixes (Love Don’t Leave Me), that are not easy to be found anywhere else in the world. Also, since there is no longer a practice of restoring the old vineyard to a new one it is pretty common to see 30-40 years of old wines on a supermarket shelf.
