In Egypt, the new olive season started in Sep-24 with a 66.6% year-on-year (YoY) price increase. Prices have risen to USD 1.03/ton (EGP 50/ton), compared to USD 0.62/ton (EGP 30/ton) in 2023, driven by escalating inflation and higher fuel and electricity costs.
