Norwegian Salmon Exports Declined in W28, Prices Reach Yearly Low

In W28, Norway's Fresh Salmon exports, particularly in the 3 to 6-kilogram (kg) Superior Salmon category, experienced a significant 4% week-on-week (WoW) decrease in volume. Despite the volume of exports over the past five weeks being nearly identical to last year's, prices have been lower. Prices declined slightly by 1.04% WoW to USD 7.09/kg, marking a new low for 2024.
