Peanut production in Senegal is forecasted by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to hit an all-time high of 1.6 million tons in the current 2021 season. Harvested areas are also estimated to have reached 1.2 million hectares. In Senegal, the peanut production season is between mid-May and July while the harvest is from September to October.
