Pomegranate Season in California Set to Start in W37

The California harvest of pomegranates will start in W37 with the Smith variety. Smith Pomegranates have a higher acid content when ripe, more juice, and more arils than other varieties. This year's crop is expected to yield good production volumes because good weather conditions allowed favorable development during blooming.
