Canada will end their domestic production of mini sweet peppers in September and usually sources peppers from Mexico since then. Unfortunately, the Mexican States Coahuila and Michoacán are starting their seasons late due to weather conditions and rains caused by hurricane Kay. The FOB price in W36 for Mexican mini sweet peppers in Canada stood at USD 17-19 for a 12x1 presentation, and prices are forecasted to climb further in the upcoming weeks.
