As Dec-23 approaches, the availability of Roma tomatoes from Michoacáan and Jalisco, Mexico, decreased significantly, marking the start of the season transition. Sinaloa is expected to initiate its first harvest in the first week of January, shipping through Nogales, Arizona. At the end of W48, the prices for Roma tomatoes in the FOB McAllen market stood at USD 16 to 18 per 25 lbs for Jumbo size, X-Large priced at USD 15 to 17/25 lbs, Large at USD 14 to 16/25 lbs, and Medium at USD 10 to 15/25 lbs. Demand is expected to influence price trends in the upcoming weeks.
