In 2023, Turkey experienced a significant surge in tomato exports, witnessing a 42.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to the previous year, reaching a total of USD 538.72 million, up from USD 377.2 million in 2022. Notably, Turkey exported tomatoes worth USD 91.98 million to Romania and USD 64.67 million to Ukraine, making it the second most exported country after Romania.
