In W8, there has been a shortage of cuttlefish from Indonesia (Sepia spp.). Due to low season harvests in western and central Indonesia, the price of frozen whole-round cuttlefish has increased to USD 4.85/kg for 100/200g, USD 5.10/kg for 200/300g, and USD 5.50/kg for 300/500g, based on the CFR in the main ports in Asia. In W7, the price stood at USD 4.30/kg for 100/200g, USD 4.50/kg for 200/300g, and USD 4.65/kg for 300/500g. The primary size is 100/200g in the current harvest.
