Snowfall affected fish prices positively in Turkey

In recent days, due to the adverse weather conditions in the seas, the number of fish caught has decreased, and consumers have turned to imported fish products. For this reason, there was a serious increase in the prices of all seafood. With the effect of snowfalls that have started across Turkey in the last few days, the seas have become stagnant and local fishers have started to hunt again. In this way, fish prices in the domestic market were positively affected and dropped by almost half.
