South African Pear Export Data for Week 28

South Africa exported 174 556 cartons of pears in week 28 of 2022, a decline of 38% compared to the same week last year. More than half of these exports were destined for the Russian market (54%), which is an increase of 17% YoY. Cumulative export volumes of pears are up 12% YoY. Total pear exports in 2022 are forecast to increase by 12% compared to the previous year.
