Despite a recent 7-9% decrease in Sumatran Robusta coffee bean prices at the farmgate level, farmers remain optimistic and anticipate higher prices during the upcoming harvest in early 2024. This optimism has increased farmer activity in tending to their plantations, including a willingness to invest more in additional fertilizer.
