Spanish group to open distribution hub for zucchini

Grupo Agroponiente completed the construction of a logistical and distribution hub in El Ejido, Almería, as part of its expansion into new markets.

The hub will be operational in the next campaign and it will mainly process zucchini, green bean, eggplant, and cucumber. The extension of the plant is 20,000 m2. With this investment, the company looks to take a step further to become a vertically integrated exporter.
