Start of Chickpea season in Tanzania

Chickpea harvest season has already started in some regions in Tanzania since the end of July, and it's expected to end in all regions of Tanzania by the end of November. Chickpea is a drought-resistant crop and does not require rainfall. It grows on residual moisture, utilizing the residual moisture remaining in the field after harvesting maize.
