Tanzanian Raw Cashew Nut Prices Down 0.25% WoW in W48 as Quality Decreases

Tanzanian raw cashew nuts (RCN) from the premium origins of Tandahimba, Masasi and Newala faced a slight drop in prices in W48 as quality decreases despite short supply towards the end of the season. In W47, RCN from Tandahimba and Newala regions of quality KOR 51 were traded at USD 0.86/kg (TZS 1,995). In W48, RCN from Tandahimba and Newala regions of quality KOR 50 traded slightly lower at USD 0.85/kg (TZS 1,990) while those from Masasi origin traded at USD 0.86/kg (TZS 2000).
